Building your panel, step by step

Selecting the wood

Each JETWOOD panel is made from pure, solid hardwood throughout. It typically needs to be around 2" thick and free of knots and defects.

Checking for quality

Whether it’s North American Cherry, Hickory, or Quarter Sawn Oak; Hawaiian Koa, Primavera, Lychee, or Mango; or exotics like Sapele, Bocote, or Cocobolo from Central America, Caesar hand-selects only the finest woods. Each piece is checked for grain, moisture, and suitability before heading to the JETWOOD workshop

Customizing the panel

Caesar works directly with you to design your JETWOOD panel. You’ll choose the aircraft model, woods for the panel and knobs, and customize the CAD design in person or via Zoom. Every detail can be tailored, from LEDs and volume selectors to arrows, frequencies, and displays. You can even align your panel with a favorite airport, approach, or flight scenario, and add personal touches like your name, status, or achievements. Each JETWOOD panel is truly one of a kind. If you can dream it, Caesar can build it.

Available models

All Southwest 737 models from the -200 to the MAX are available, along with United and Delta 737 MAX aircraft. All Alaska 737 models are also supported, and we can modify layouts for any 737 version. Airbus A319, A320, and A321 panels are coming soon. If you don’t see your aircraft listed, just ask, we may be able to make it

Cut to perfection

Once your choices are set, Caesar mills the wood into pieces that are glued for the best grain match, color, and strength. Each panel requires over 100 hours on German-engineered CNC machines to capture the level of detail that makes JETWOOD unique. A double-sided milling process ensures the back is pre-drilled for brackets, so the panel mounts perfectly on your wall. German-engineered CNC machines are pushed to their limits to deliver precise, beautifully detailed panels built to last.

60 hours just for the knobs

Because knobs are small, we can use an even wider variety of wood species for them. Each knob is cut within 1/32" of its final size before going into a CNC machine for detailed milling. The knobs alone can take over 60 hours of CNC time for a single panel, not including the careful hand-indexing required to set each one in place.

Applying the finishing touches

Caesar then spends several hours applying a very durable finish that not only brings out the natural beauty of the wood, but the product he uses is durable enough to be used as a floor finish. There is a delicate balance when applying this finish to your highly detailed JETWOOD panel to achieve the perfect level of protecting the panel, while not allowing any extra finish to remain that would alter your finished product's look. This is done with high pressure air, lots of elbow grease and most of all patience and attention to detail.

Something to cherish

We build each JETWOOD panel to last: for you, your family, and the next generation who will see it not just as wood, but as part of your story.
